Tianyang Gao, Violin
Tianyang Gao is a violinist from Nantong, China, and he has been playing since the age of 5. He has practiced under Ms. Fang Lei, a professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, since elementary school and won the first price for the Solo Violin Competition in Shanghai. Tianyang has attracted much attention with his performances at the Heluting Concert Hall of the Shanghai Opera Orchestra. In addition, he has studied and played violin all over the world and has won the second prize in the junior division of the “National Violin Competition” in 2006. Currently, Tianyang is studying at Juilliard under Ronald Copes.
